Water conservation has expedited the evolution of the toilet's water usage. the Plumbers National Institute reports a strong demand increase for water conserving toilets. The composting toilet which is the most Eco-friendly toilet requires almost no water. Composting toilets break down the toilet contents naturally through evaporation  and aerobic processing. Dual flush toilets  have been gaining a lot of popularity recently. A person using a dual flush toilet can now pick whether they want to use a full flush or a half flush. Finally the the improved ultra low flow toilet which only flushes 1.28 gallons of water with every flush. It seems like only yesterday we were flushing three to five gallons of freshwater down the drain with every flush.
